Arch Model Studio or AMS is based here in East London. Its founder and acclaimed model-maker is Andy Gent. His passion and 25 years of experience in puppet making, set building and character creation definitely shines through on every project.

Best known for creating some of the most memorable puppets for award winning stop-motion feature films and tv commercials, Andy has been responsible for every stage of puppet making from concept design and development to modelling, manufacturing, rigging and on set maintenance.

His credit list is extensive, probably most famous for working on Wes Anderson’s ‘Isle of Dogs’ ‘Fantastic Mr. Fox’, and ‘The Grand Hotel Budapest’ his other credits include Tim Burton’s ‘Corpse Bride’. ‘Frankenweenie’ and ‘Miss Peregrines School for Peculiars’ and Henry Sellick’s ‘Coraline’ along with hundreds of TV commercials.
